Dunkerton is a small village in the Cam Valley south of Bath, another of the old Somerset coalfield settlements. It’s a scattered, rural place — stone cottages and older solid-walled homes spread along the valley, with a few newer properties added over the years, surrounded by farmland and steep lanes.

Older stone properties lose heat faster than a modern build, so we size the boiler properly rather than guessing, and plan the job around the property. A compact cottage usually suits a combi; a larger home with more than one bathroom often works better on a system boiler. Being a rural valley village, some homes here aren’t on the mains gas network.
